Bushmills 10 Year Old is produced at the Old Bushmills Distillery located in Bushmills, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. This esteemed distillery, established in 1784, is one of the oldest licensed distilleries in the world. The whiskey is made from 100% malted barley, which is triple distilled in traditional copper pot stills to ensure a pure and refined spirit. The distillation process is meticulous, preserving the delicate flavors and unique malt characteristics. After distillation, the whiskey is aged for at least 10 years in a blend of bourbon seasoned American oak barrels and Spanish Oloroso sherry casks. This aging process imparts a rich, smooth character to the whiskey, with layers of complexity and depth with 40% alcohol by volume (ABV).

One of the unique aspects of Bushmills 10 Year Old is the use of water from Saint Columb’s Rill, a River Bush that flows through volcanic rock, adding a unique mineral quality to the whiskey.
